How long is the flight from LA to Las Vegas?
About 50 minutes from Van Nuys or Burbank to Harry Reid, a little longer in a turboprop or into a stiff headwind. Door to door, plan on roughly two hours from the Valley or the Westside.
Which LA airport should we leave from?
The one closest to where your day starts. Van Nuys suits the Valley and the Westside, Burbank the Eastside and the studios, Long Beach the South Bay, and Orange County the coast south of the city.
Can we fly back the same night?
Often, yes. A same-day round trip has to fit the crew's legal duty day, and the aircraft waits for you in Las Vegas. Your quote spells out any waiting time or overnight costs before you agree to anything.
What does a private jet from LA to Vegas cost?
As a rough estimate, a one-way light jet runs about $7,500 to $11,800 including the federal excise tax, assuming the aircraft flies home empty. Segment and airport fees are added in the quote. Split six ways, that is roughly $1,250 to $1,970 each.
How many people can we bring?
From six or so in a turboprop or light jet up to sixteen in a large-cabin jet. Tell us the headcount and the bags, and we'll match the aircraft to both.
Do passengers need ID?
Yes. Bring government-issued photo ID for every adult; operators confirm who is on board before departure.
Can the dog come to Vegas too?
Plenty of operators allow dogs and cats in the cabin once they've approved it. Mention breed and size when you ask, as some want a crate or charge for cleaning.
Is there a membership or deposit?
Neither. Asking for prices costs nothing, and payment only comes after you pick an aircraft and sign the charter agreement.
When is the best time to leave LA on a Friday?
Before about 2 p.m., or after the evening rush. The roughest window for reaching any LA airport is roughly 3 to 7 p.m., though the flight itself is the same 50 minutes whenever you go.
Can a car meet us when we land?
Usually. The private terminals in Las Vegas can arrange cars, and some airports allow vehicles to meet you at the aircraft. Tell us what you'd like and we'll request it with the terminal.
Is Henderson better than Harry Reid?
It depends on your hotel. Harry Reid is closest to most of the Strip; Henderson Executive is quieter and convenient for Henderson, Lake Las Vegas and the southern end of town.
Can we add a stop, or go somewhere after Vegas?
Yes. Choose Multi-city in the form, enter the first flight and list the others with dates in the notes. One aircraft for the whole itinerary often beats a string of separate one-ways on price.
What happens if the weather turns?
The operator and crew decide whether a flight can go safely, and that decision stands. If a flight is delayed or cancelled, your advisor works on the next workable option, and your charter agreement sets out how changes are handled.
